I was born and raised in Central North Queensland, I am an only child of an Englishman and a New Zealand woman which is what gave me my unique accent and probably my interest in international travel.
Since I was 9 I had been attending the Concervatorium of Music for classical studies with the Flute as my instrument, I later learnt Picollo as well. I love my music, all aspects of it, theory, composition and preformence. I have been apart of many memorable preformences over the years the top two for me were preforming in the Symphony Orchestra with David Helfgott and preforming in the Sydney 2000 Olympic opening ceremony in the Marching Band.
I love to travel, since I finished my apprenticeship as a Jeweller I have been traveling and adding as many stamps to my passports as possible. I lived and worked in England for 9 months and also did a month each working in Gemany and in Ireland. I have traveled also to Ghana (Africa), United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Singapore with my favorite being Jakarta, Indonesia. I have just recently added Japan to my passport stamp collection, I had a great time seeing snow for the first time.

I really enjoy cooking, at the moment I am really into Japanese food, home cooking style. I just got a new cook book and I am having great fun trying out all the new recipes.
Favorite Books
I don't have a favorite book per se, but the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett I will always go back and re-read if I can't think of anything else. Other authors would be Tom Sharpe, Douglas Adams and Neil Gaiman. I am also enjoy Graphic Novels/Comics as well, Frank Miller, Jhonen Vasquez, Eric Powell and the guys who wrote Y: The Last Man on Earth.
Favorite Films
I think at this point in time my favorite film would have to be I am Legend, if you did not cry you, you were not watching it. Runners up would be 300, Sin City, Lost in Translation, V for Vendetta, Thank you for Smoking, Death at a Funeral, Babel, the new Batman Movie and all the Die Hards. I also really enjoy the old movies such as the Carry On movies, musicals and whatnot from previous eras. I suppose my only interesting point with movies is I have watched every Bond movie ever made, and I rather like the new one too.
Favorite TV shows
My tastes are varied so I will give a list of the shows I wait all week to watch (or have the DVD of so I can watch re-runs). Dexter, Pushing Daisies, Breaking Bad, House, Californication, Burn Notice, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, John Doe, Dirty Sexy Money, Firefly and Penn & Tellers Bullshit.
And from England, Q.I., Top Gear, Honest, Kingdom, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder and last but not least Monty Pythons Flying Circus.
And I enjoy art so I have always been drawn to animations, favorites include Invader Zim, Futurama, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law, The Boondocks, The Venture Brothers, Aeon Flux and a wide array of Japanese Anime.
Favorite Music
Waaay to much to list, but I will say, Bach is my favorite composer for Classical Music. For Modern music Garbage, Eminem, The Whitlams, Fat Boy Slim, Daft Punk, Powderfinger, Gnarls Barkley, Cafe del Mar and Basement Jaxx are always the top of my playlist.
I also really enjoy the theater, a cross of visuals and music, Cabaret and Chicago are fantastic and I also enjoy opera, my favorite being Madam Butterfly.
I will shush now but this does not exhaust my interests and hobbies, talk to me about anything you wish I am sure I will be able to join in, for example I really enjoy maps and I have my boat licence.
